Student Work
Inquisitive, creative, ambitious—a typical Miami design student might spend time working with a real-world client in London, intern in Cincinnati, San Francisco or New York, or join with students from Architecture, Creative Writing, Marketing, or Interactive Media Studies to address broader national and global challenges.
Selected through a portfolio review process, each class consists of 20 students. Together, these students form strong, supportive communities, inspiring and challenging one another at Miami and beyond. Even after graduation our design students assist one another with job searches in new cities, forming a network of problem-solving friends well-versed in the challenges of the profession. Whether at a coffee shop or on Facebook, Miami design students leave our program with a built-in support system.
